Rüdiger Rath (born 1966, nationality German) graduated from the University of Applied Sciences Mainz with a degree in Business Administration and has more than ten years of experience in general management: Since 2008, he has been Managing Director and shareholder of Inforsacom Informationssysteme GmbH, which was acquired by Logicalis Group in 2015. In 2016, Rath became Head of Europe of Logicalis Group and was responsible for all subsidiaries in Europe as well as the international business in the Executive Board of Logicalis Group. Previously, he held senior finance positions at Inforsacom Informationssysteme GmbH and Amadeus Germany GmbH. On October 1, 2021, Rath joined CANCOM SE as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of the Executive Board. In this role, he was responsible for the entire operating business of CANCOM SE with a focus on the areas of Cloud and Managed Services as well as IT Solutions & Sales. Rath was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by the Supervisory Board with effect from November 1, 2022.

Jochen Borenich

Jochen Borenich was born in 1973 (nationality: Austrian). He studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and completed an Executive MBA at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration & Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota). He has also completed postgraduate trainings at Harvard Business School, IMD, Stanford University & MIT. He started his professional career at debis Systemhaus (DaimlerChrysler AG). From 2002 to 2010, Borenich was responsible for sales at T-Systems Austria and from 2006 was also a member of the executive board. Since 2010, he has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on the board of K-Businesscom (formerly Kapsch BusinessCom AG). In his book “Hybrides Arbeiten & Digitalisierung” (Hybrid Work & Digitalization) (2021), he deals with the topic of new working worlds as a co-author. He was also a founding member and president of ICT Austria until July 2023. On August 1, 2023, he moved to the CANCOM Group as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). As a member of the Executive Board of CANCOM SE, he is responsible for the regional sales units, marketing and portfolio management of the CANCOM Group. In addition, he is also responsible for the Professional Services Organization and Premium Support Services.

Thomas Stark was born in 1971 and is a German national. After his study of business engineering and two years as a business process analyst at Accenture, Thomas joined CANCOM group in the year 2000. In the following years he held several positions before he was made director purchasing of CANCOM SE in 2003 and director finance of CANCOM SE in 2006. Since 2012 respectively 2014 he is Executive Vice President and CFO of German TecDAX listed CANCOM SE, one of the top 30 German high tech companies. From 2014 to 2016, Thomas was CFO of Pironet AG, member of CANCOM group. As member of the Management Board of CANCOM SE he is responsible for topics concerning the fields of Environment, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG). Other mandates held: None.

AL-KO Kober SE

Stefan Kober (born 1970; nationality: German) started his professional career back in 1992 while studying economics at the University of Augsburg. After the founding of today’s CANCOM SE, Kober was a member of the Executive Board there from 1992 to 2005, responsible for marketing and sales. He then moved to the Supervisory Board of CANCOM SE, where he served from 2006 to 2014, most recently as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Following his position on the Executive Board of CANCOM SE, Stefan Kober moved to the Executive Board of AL-KO KOBER SE in Kötz at the beginning of 2006, where he was also responsible for Marketing and Sales. With its Gardentech, Air Technology and Automotive divisions, the AL-KO KOBER Group is one of the global players among German medium-sized companies. The group of companies can look back on more than 85 years of corporate tradition and is now being successfully developed in its third generation. Dr. Lothar Koniarski (born 1955; Nationality: German) is a graduate in Economics (Diplom-Kaufmann). After his study, he worked as an academic assistant and academic counsel at the University of Regensburg from 1980 to 1985. After that, he was a Manager and Managing Director for several industrial companies. Since 1995, Dr. Lothar Koniarski was Managing Director of DV Immobilien Management GmbH, Regensburg, as well as of other companies of Dr. Vielberth group, which has developed and advised on complex commercial real estate locations in order to accumulate assets for the company. Since 2017, he is Chairman of the Advisory Council of DV Immobilien Gruppe. He is also Managing Director of Elber GmbH, an investment holding company for industrial investments. From 2005 to 2013, Dr. Koniarski was a member of the DIHK Finance and Tax Committee in Berlin. Since 2003 he is Chairman of the Finance and Tax Committee of IHK Regensburg. In 2010, he started working on the Regensburg University Foundation Board Foundation, the Hans Vielberth University Foundation and the Foundation for University real estate Hans Vielberth. Since 2013, he is the Deputy Chairman of the board of trustees of the foundation for the promotion of the University Regensburg. Prof. Dr. Isabell Welpe (born 1975; Nationality: German). After studying economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, USA, and a master’s degree at the London School of Economics, England, Prof. Welpe received his doctorate from the University of Regensburg (Chair of Technology and Innovation Management, 2003) and her postdoctoral lecturing qualification at the LMU (Prof. Dr. Dres. h.c. Arnold Picot) on innovation and organization (2007). Since 2009 she holds the Chair of Strategy and Organization at TUM. Prof. Welpe conducts research from a behavioural perspective in the areas of leadership, innovation and organisation, including the selection and assessment of executives, strategic leadership, team leadership, the role of emotions in leadership processes, incentive systems and performance measurement in universities. It pursues a quantitative-empirical research approach in which different data sources (e.g. laboratory experiments) and research designs (experimental/correlative designs) are used. Dr. Swantje Schulze (born 1996; nationality: German) is an experienced change manager with a proven expertise in digital transformation and cloud solutions. She has over 25 years of experience in sales in the IT industry, both globally and in the German market, with major international companies. Already during her doctorate, she worked as a sales and marketing manager for an IT company from 1999 onwards. In 2006, she moved to IBM Germany, where she worked as a Field Sales Manager for various products and was awarded the internal Achievement Role Model Leadership Award for her work. After three years as Director Sales for Software Solutions at CANCOM and one year in the management of the subsidiary Glanzkinder, she joined Oracle in 2014. Here she first led an international team for Inside Sales in Northern Europe, then worked in the German management for the Partner Business, before being responsible for an international team in 30 locations in APAC. Between December 2020 and November 2021, she looked after a large customer in the telecommunications sector at Microsoft. After a stopover at e-Spirit AG as Vice President Sales EMEA, she joined Dataiku in Berlin in November 2022 and is responsible for the German market as Regional Vice President Sales. Due to her professional experience, Dr. Swantje Schulze has proven expertise in the national and international IT industry, especially in product and solution sales as well as in supporting change processes in the organisation.

Klaus Weinmann (born 1969; nationality: German) studied business administration at the University of Augsburg from 1990 and graduated in 1995 with a degree in business administration. In his second year of studies he founded CANCOM together with Stefan Kober and Raymond Kober. In a leading position and later as chairman of the board, he shaped the rapid growth of the CANCOM Group. In 1999, the CANCOM Group went public under his leadership. Since 2012 it has been listed there as one of the leading German IT service providers in the TecDAX index of the 30 largest high-tech companies in Germany. After many years of successful work as Chairman of the Executive Board of CANCOM Group, in 2017 he moved as CEO to PRIMEPULSE SE, the Munich-based investment holding company he co-founded in 2014 that invests in companies with a technological focus.

Dr. Kari Kapsch (born 1964; nationality: Austrian) joined Kapsch AG in 1982 and has held various positions throughout his career. In 2001, the physicist with a doctorate was appointed to the Managing Board of Kapsch AG with responsibility for Sales and Production. In this function, he made a significant contribution to the successful acquisition of the contract for the Austrian toll system for Kapsch AG. In 2002, he was appointed COO of the Kapsch Group and, in addition to this function, also held the position of CEO on the board of Kapsch BusinessCom AG, later K-Businescom AG, between 2003 and 2010. Subsequently, he served as CEO of Kapsch CarrierCom AG between 2011 and 2019. He also served as chairman of the supervisory board of Kapsch BusinessCom AG from 2011 until 2021 and as chairman of the supervisory board of the successor company K-Businesscom AG from 2021.
